FlixBus offers an affordable way to get between Downtown Calgary and Banff if you are visiting without a car. There are multiple daily departures, and the bus rides take between 1.30 and 2 hours. Rates start at $12, which is an absolute steal. Buses have free WiFi and outlets.

These buses do not depart from the airport and two locations in Downtown Calgary (Crowfoot and 11 Ave), they make one stop in Canmore (at 1729 A Mountain Ave) before continuing on to Banff.

Buses also run from Banff back to Downtown Calgary.
