  • Shuttle

The Moraine Lake Bus Company is a local family-run company and one of the top private shuttles that takes visitors to Moraine Lake. They offer multiple shuttle options to Moraine Lake and Lake Louise, including a sunrise option, which is their most popular.

Their shuttles transport guests to Moraine Lake as early as 4 a.m., ensuring a sunrise visit. A 4 a.m. departure means that guests are at Moraine Lake by 4:30 a.m., leaving plenty of time to get set up for photos or other sunrise adventures.

Once there, guests can choose how long they want to stay. This is a fantastic option for hikers and climbers who wish for an alpine start to tackle some big objectives in the day. Unlike tours with a set time at Moraine Lake, you can select your return time to stay for as long or as little as you’d like. If you’re looking to do any hikes after sunrise, or have an important event to get back to, this is the best option for you.

The Moraine Lake Bus Company allows small dogs in a crate on its shuttles. It also allows and has space for inflatable paddleboards and kayaks. Besides sunrise shuttles, they have over 30 departures a day, with options that go directly to Moraine Lake, directly to Lake Louise, or to Moraine Lake with a one-hour stop at Lake Louise. Check the schedule here.

Our Experience with Moraine Lake Bus Co

When we want to avoid the hassles of the Parks Canada shuttles to Moraine Lake, we typically turn to Moraine Lake Bus Company. They have their shuttle service down pat, with complete organization from pick-up to drop-off.

Their drivers are extremely friendly and personable, and we loved that they have space for paddleboards on the bus. However, the best thing about MLBC is its user-friendly website. It’s easy to book a spot on their shuttles and navigate their website.
