Type:

Via Via Moraine Lake Shuttle is a locally owned shuttle company based in Canmore, heading into their second season and offering a flexible way to explore the Rockies.

They’re neither a standard shuttle nor a fully guided tour. Their drivers share local insights and stories along the way, and once at the lake, guests are free to explore at their own pace. It’s best for those who want flexibility during their time at Moraine Lake and Lake Louise and do not want to be constrained by the time restraints of an organized tour with others.

This is a great option to enjoy hiking in the area, or go for a canoe! Besides the daily sunrise shuttle (with the nice touch of hot drinks and cozy blankets), they also offer Moraine Lake and Lake Louise combo & single tours that run throughout the day. Via Via is also the only company offering late return options from both lakes back to Canmore & Banff, giving you the flexibility of going on longer day hikes. Prices start at $49 for Lake Louise, $75 for Moraine Lake, and $79 for a sunrise shuttle and fluctuate from there! If you want a shuttle to Emerald Lake, these are also offered by Via Via!

Now, we live in Canmore and spend as much time as possible exploring and hiking around Banff. It’s one of the most spectacular areas and the perfect place for an outdoor vacation.

We aim to help you get the most out of your trip to Banff National Park and the surrounding areas. Learn more about us here. If you've found our website helpful for planning, please consider booking some of our recommendations or supporting our work here.
