For the self-park option, the valet will guide you to the heated indoor parking stalls beside the hotel (heated parking is a luxury during Banff winters!). The garage has more than enough parking stalls to ensure a stress-free parking experience. To exit and re-enter the parking garage, you simply swipe your room key at the gate.

The spa area is next to the fitness facility, which offers everything you may need to stick to your workout plan while on holiday. Both the spa and fitness facility look out to the gardens and courtyard thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows, ensuring you do not miss a moment of the incredible views offered by this resort.

No matter the room type, each room in the Rimrock Resort Hotel is well executed. The décor is simple yet elegant, and the floor-to-ceiling windows guarantee views of the surrounding environment. The rooms are equipped with mini-fridges to keep your beverages chilled and snacks fresh and come with a Keurig coffee maker and a wide selection of teas and coffee.
When we had the pleasure of enjoying a Grandview Suite, we were impressed with the well-thought-out details of our room. The room was set perfectly to watch the sunrise over Mount Rundle – we purposely left our blinds open to be woken by its rays, and enjoying the bright pink sky from our king-sized bed was worth the wake-up call.
The balcony was also set to catch the sun for the entirety of the day. Although, I most enjoyed the room when the sun had set, and the courtyard lights lit up the trees in a soft green color – the light cast a shadow of the trees on our ceiling as they danced in the wind, which is the perfect site to lull you to bed.

- The Café: The Café is located on the main floor, just a walk down the corridor from the main lobby. The Café serves specialty coffees, fresh smoothies, baked goods, and sandwiches. This is a great pit stop to grab snacks to pack for your days adventure!
- Diva’s Bistro: The Diva’s Bistro is a Hollywood-themed bistro whose décor pays ode to famous Hollywood women throughout the ages. It is a fun and comfortable setting to enjoy small plates crafted for tasting and sharing.
- Larkspur Lounge: The Larkspur Lounge is a light and lively lounge where you can enjoy a tasty cocktail as you admire the views from the two-story windows. The Lounge offers lunch, light snacks, and an extensive offering of unique cocktails, wines, whiskeys, and other beverages.

The exceptionally talented Chef de Cuisine at Eden crafts French Cuisine that is influenced by local ingredients. The plates at Eden reflect the Chef’s extensive experience and the restaurant’s long-standing Five Diamond title.
When dining at Eden, you have the option to select the Three Course, Four-Course, Grand Degustation, Chef’s Tasting Menu, or the Chef’s Vegetarian Tasting Menu. We chose to indulge in the Four Course menu, which exceeded our expectations.
Each plate was crafted to perfection and presented as such. Our serving staff knew the details of each plate right down to dates and origins and enlightened us with what felt like a tour of France with each serving.
With each menu option, you also have the choice to include a Classic or Eden wine pairing. The Sommeliers did an outstanding job in selecting the wine pairings of each course. Each glass of wine complemented and enhanced the food that it was paired with, and the Sommeliers were knowledgeable and provided extensive detail of each glass.
This exceptionally crafted menu and a long list of delicious wines, all paired with one of the most gorgeous settings I have had the pleasure of enjoying in Banff National Park, deserve a number one spot on your Banff Itinerary.
I cannot find the words to properly portray the quality service and delectable menu provided by Eden. The multifaceted dining experience offered by this exceptional restaurant is a true Banff gem that can only be understood once you have had the pleasure of indulging!
